This year, I was invited by Professor Antonio Vela Bueno to give a practical seminar to pregraduate students of Medicine on psychophysiological recording (especially sleep recording) in the context of a course on Methodology of Sleep and Stress. The seminar was conceived as a motivating introduction to the recording of biological signals.
We tried to introduce the material from the most elemental concepts to the most actual achievements in an accessible way. The lecture (included in this tutorial as The seminar) was complemented with a set of messages received by e-mail as a set of hands-on exercises. They are summarized in the section The messages
Since I think that this way of teaching can be useful for other environments, I include the content of the seminar slightly modified.
